Denver Children’s Advocacy Center (DCAC) was recently awarded $100,000 of grant funding by The Colorado Health Foundation to support our Community Outreach Program and specifically Education and Support For Family, Friend and Neighbor and Childcare Providers.
This funding helps us carry out our mission by providing culturally responsive and inclusive outreach, training, support, and customized consultations for family, friend and neighbor and childcare providers (FFNs) in Southwest Denver and Globeville/Elyria-Swansea. By working with FFNs, DCAC will help improve the emotional well-being of caregivers in under-resourced neighborhoods and promote the healthy social-emotional development and resiliency of the children they serve.
