We are excited to invite you to partner with the Denver Children?s Advocacy Center (DCAC) as a 2019 sponsor. We have three major events happening this year: Clays for Kids on May 3rd, the KB Home Charity Golf Tournament in September of 2019, and our 4th annual Art from the Heart on September 26th. Clays for Kids, a sporting clays tournament, will be hosted at the beautiful Colorado Clays Shooting Park in Brighton, Colorado. In honor of National Child Abuse Prevention Month, this event is designed to bring sporting enthusiasts together to spread awareness about our mission to serve Denver?s child victims of abuse, neglect, and violence. It will include a 15-station clay shooting tournament and a fully catered BBQ lunch.
Our fourth annual Art from the Heart event draws attention to the transformative power of art and the art therapy utilized by DCAC?s therapists in working with traumatized children. This year, we will honor Nancy & Sam Gary for their lifelong commitment to children and families. Art from the Heart will be hosted at the Children?s Museum of Denver and it will feature a live auction, silent auction, guest speakers, and more.
The 2nd annual KB Home Charity Golf Tournament will be held in September of 2019. A finalized date will be announced soon. KB Home is a longtime supporter of DCAC and we cannot thank them enough for hosting this event to benefit our programs. Please join us for a fun day of golfing to support DCAC!
This year, we are offering the unique opportunity to provide one or two schools with Denver Safe from the Start (DSFS) prevention programming depending on your level of support. This opportunity will include shadowing the DSFS classroom lessons, recognition as a sponsor of this program, an in-office DSFS training, and more.
