Samantha is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Colorado and joined DCAC in 2021. She received her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Denver and her Bachelor’s degree from Gonzaga University. Prior to working at DCAC, Samantha has experience working as a youth advocate at a domestic violence shelter and as a birth parent counselor for an adoption agency, providing all options counseling and case management services for birth parents considering adoption. She has clinical training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Phased-Based Treatment for Problematic Sexual Behaviors. Currently Samantha provides therapy to children and families through DCAC and also is an Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant, providing social and emotional services to students, staff and families in several different schools and daycare centers in Denver.
