Lucy Heim

Lucy joined the DCAC team as a Family Advocate and Intake Specialist in 2023. She graduated from North Central University in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work. While obtaining her degree, Lucy was an intern at CornerHouse Child Advocacy Center in Minneapolis, where she worked as an advocate to support children and families experiencing trauma. Prior to working at DCAC, she worked as a program coordinator for a non-profit specializing in community engagement with DHA Section 8 Housing. She also spent many years working as a caregiver for adults with developmental disabilities. Lucy is passionate about advocating for children and families and is excited to serve the Denver community!
