Julia joined the Denver Child Advocacy Center as the Bilingual Prevention Specialist in August of 2023. She is originally from Louisiana but attended college in Arkansas where she studied social work and had the opportunity to intern at a Child Advocacy Center as a Family Advocate. She received her bachelor’s degree in 2021 and moved to Colorado to work as an ABA therapist. She later transitioned into her role as a Bilingual Parent Educator, where she learned how to manage a caseload and provide resources to families. She is currently in her graduate program at Denver University and is expected to graduate with her master’s in social work at the end of 2023. She is excited to once again be a part of a Child Advocacy Center.
