“Ashley Khan joined DCAC as a Bilingual Child and Family Therapist in 2024 and is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) working towards her clinical license in Colorado. She received her Master of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and her Bachelor in the Teaching of Spanish at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. Ashley has always been passionate about child welfare and promoting peace and equity in all areas of life. Ashley grew up in the Chicagoland area and moved to Denver in January 2023. Ashley’s clinical experience with children spans ages 0-18, with training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), and ongoing pursuits of education in the areas of trauma and healing. Ashley has experience working with populations impacted by various challenges such as intimate partner violence, sexual abuse, physical abuse, parenting support, behavioral difficulties, immigration trauma, and more. Ashley’s clinical approach is culturally sensitive, client-led, empathetic, creative, fun, and collaborative (#TherapyIsCool). Outside of work, Ashley enjoys immersing herself in nature with her dog Cleo, getting artsy with paint and pottery, and listening to live music with friends.”
